1. Service Description

GovConToday ("the Service") is operated by Watney Labs ("we", "us", "our"). The Service provides daily email digests of government contract opportunities sourced from SAM.gov, matched to your business profile and preferences.

2. Account Terms

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

3. Billing and Refunds

The Free plan is available at no charge. The Pro plan is billed monthly at the rate displayed on our pricing page. All payments are processed through Stripe.

  • Pro subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
  • You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@govcontoday.com within 7 days of a charge for a refund request.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Resell, redistribute, or republish digest content in bulk.
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service infrastructure.
  • Use automated systems to scrape or extract data from the Service beyond normal email receipt.

5. Data and Accuracy

Contract opportunity data is sourced from SAM.gov and other government databases. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that opportunity information is complete, current, or error-free. Always verify opportunity details directly on SAM.gov before making bid/no-bid decisions.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, match-scoring algorithms, and email templates, is the property of Watney Labs. Government contract data sourced from SAM.gov is in the public domain.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your profile data and preferences will be permanently deleted.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Watney Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed contract opportunities, lost revenue, or bid decisions made based on our data.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
